Inter could allow Matias Vecino join Roma on loan in January as part of a swap deal that would see Gonzalo Villar coming in on loan the other way.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering the proposal to the Giallorossi as they are interested in signing Villar on loan with a purchase option.
Vecino looks a possibility to depart from Inter in the January transfer window, with the 30-year-old not happy with the amount of playing time that he has received so far this season.
A number of clubs are interested in the Uruguayan’s signature, and Roma are among the possible destinations for him.
Should the Giallorossi move for Vecino, then Inter could use the deal to sign Villar, a player who they have shown an interested in, on loan.
The Nerazzurri would ask to sign the Spanish midfielder on loan with an option to buy on a permanent basis as part of this deal.
