Inter are ready to make a move for Spanish midfielder Gonzalo Villar who has fallen out of favour at AS Roma this season under Jose Mourinho, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish midfielder is ready to leave the Giallorossi as he is not viewed as part of the squad by new boss Jose Mourinho.

Despite being viewed by many as a talented youngster who can become an important part of the AS Roma squad, Jose Mourinho does not view him as such and therefore the 23-yar-old has seen no minutes of Serie A action, limited to a few Europa Conference League appearances.

Inter are therefore ready to sign him as a backup to Marcelo Brozovic in midfield. The Nerazzurri are not the only interested team though, with La Liga side Valencia also ready and waiting for a move.
