Inter must do battle with a number of teams if they are to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso on a free transfer in the summer, according to a report in the German print media.
As has been reported by Bild in Germany, the French midfielder will not be renewing his contract at the German champions and will be seeking a new team for the 2022/23 season. One of the many interested teams is Inter.
The Nerazzurri are particularly aware of the free transfer market right now as shown by their pursuits of Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana and Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter.
The French midfielder is admired by many more teams than just Inter though. Fellow Serie A side AS Roma are also interested, as are both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in Spain.
The latter two may be able to offer more money to the Frenchman than the Italian sides can.
