Andre Onana will join Inter from Ajax on a free transfer in the summer, and he has had no doubt about this for some time.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Cameroonian has been settled on the Nerazzurri as a destination for some time and that he will sign his contract when he is officially able to.

Onana’s current deal with Ajax is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and he has been open about his intention to leave the Dutch champions when it runs out rather than signing an extension.

The 25-year-old has been identified as the priority option to take over from Samir Handanovic in goal at Inter on a long-term basis, though he has also been linked with a number of other clubs.

However, it is the Nerazzurri who the keeper has long considered to be his preferred destination, and he remains set on a move to the Giuseppe Meazza as ever.
