Inter are considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Keherer in the summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, who report that the 25-year-old is one of the Nerazzurri’s main alternatives to Borussia Monchengladbach’s Mathias Ginter and that he would cost around €20 million.

The Nerazzurri are ready to reinforce their defensive options during the summer transfer options, with Ginter’s arrival on a free transfer still looking to be the priority.

However, the club are also stepping up their interest in German international Kehrer, with the versatile defender possibly well-suited to playing in the back-three system used at the club.

The Parisians could be convinced to allow the 25-year-old to leave the French capital next summer, but value him at around €20 million.

It remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri would still be willing to move for the German should PSG not waver on this price tag.
