Everton are not willing to allow Inter target Lucas Digne go during the January window unless it is on a permanent sale for €35 million.
This according to UK broadcaster Sky Sports, who report that the Toffees are not ready to consider a loan with a purchase option for the 28-year-old, a major obstacle for the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of him.
Digne is one of Inter’s main targets for this month to back up Ivan Perisic on the left, with the Frenchman having fallen out with Everton head coach Rafa Benitez and possibly on his way out.
However, the Nerazzurri would only be able to move for Digne this month should he be available on an initial loan with an option to buy him on a permanent basis included in the deal.
Currently Everton have no interest in a deal with this formula, and unless they decide to open up to a loan then Inter are set to miss out on Digne during the window.
