Inter are keeping a very close eye on the contract situation that is developing between Lazio and Luiz Felipe, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, the Brazilian defender is currently set to leave the Biancocelesti in the summer when his contract will expire.

Inter are looking to take advantage of this by signing him on a free transfer so he can link up with Simone Inzaghi again, who was Lazio boss for five seasons and coached Luiz Felipe.

The player would be a valuable reinforcement in defence for Inter. The club are also hoping to sign Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter on a free transfer.

He recently announced that he will not be renewing his deal with the Bundesliga side and therefore will be finding a new team in the summer. Torino’s Bremer is another defensive option for the Nerazzurri.
