Denzel Dumfries and Alessandro Bastoni are the favourites to start for Inter in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Lazio.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who predict that the pair will start the match ahead of Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco respectively.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has a decision to make on the right, where Dumfries played his way into form towards the back end of 2021, while Matteo Darmian is also back from injury.

Darmian had been in excellent form prior to his thigh injury, but Darmian’s performances in the 32-year-old’s absence have gone some way to establishing a starting spot for the Dutchman.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi is increasingly considering Federico Dimarco as an option on the left side of the defense, but against the Biancocelesti he still looks set to stick with Alessandro Bastoni in the role.

In attack, Joaquin Correa could impress enough in training to start ahead of Alexis Sanchez, while Arturo Vidal remains favourite over Roberto Gagliardini in place of the suspended Hakan Calhanoglu.
