The medical staff for the Cameroon national team have been impressed by the physical condition that Inter target Andre Onana is in, according to a report in the French media today.

As has been reported by France Football, via FCInternews, Andre Onana has already made an impressive start to his Africa Cup of Nations campaign with Cameroon.

The player has been serving a nine-month ban from football for a doping violation which ended very recently. During that time he has been training by himself which led many to fear he may be out of shape or lacking the same skill level as a goalkeeper that he had before.

That does not appear to be the case though and France Football believes that the current Ajax goalkeeper’s move to Inter on a free transfer will be announced in February.

It is an open secret that the goalkeeper will be joining Inter in the summer to likely take the number one spot away from Samir Handanovic.
