Inter are considering a move for Sampdoria midfielder Morten Thorsby, although this would only come in the event that the right circumstances line up.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 25-year-old has come up as a target as the Blucerchiati pursue Nerazzurri midfielder Stefano Sensi on loan.
Sampdoria are pressing harder in their interest in loaning in Sensi over the second half of the season, with the midfielder set to meet with his agent about the possibility and increasingly open to making the switch in search of regular playing time.
Should this move take place, the Nerazzurri could step up their own interest in Sampdoria midfielder Thorsby, who they see as a player who could add energy to their midfield.
In addition to Sensi leaving on loan, Matias Vecino would have to depart before a move for Thorsby takes place, and right now that looks to be likelier at the end of the Uruguayan’s contract in June than this month.
