Inter kept Atalanta off the scoresheet in yesterday evening’s Serie A draw at the Gewiss stadium, and this was the fifth consecutive match away from the San Siro in which they’ve kept a clean sheet.
As football statistics account Opta pointed out on Twitter, this was the first time that the Nerazzurri have managed to go five matches in a row in the Italian top flight without conceding a goal since the beginning of the three points for a win era.
They captioned the post, “5 – @Inter_en have kept the clean sheet in five Serie A games in a row away from San Siro for their first time in the three points for a win era. Portcullis.”
