Inter could call young midfielder Mattia Sangalli up to the first team from the Primavera side once Stefano Sensi complete his loan move to Sampdoria for the rest of the season.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 19-year-old could be included in the senior side as a midfield option with Sensi set for a move away to the Blucerchiati on loan during the January window.
Sensi looks close to agreeing a move to Sampdoria on loan for the second half of the campaign in search of more regular playing time, and the Nerazzurri are considering how to reinforce their midfield in his absence.
The solution could already be in their ranks in the form of young midfielder Sangalli, who has impressed with the Primavera side this season and looks more ready for the step up to senior footballer than his teammates in the youth team.
Sangalli has a similar profile to Sensi’s, and could be seen as the right option to bolster the midfield depth for the rest of the campaign.
