Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to meet with President Steven Zhang, CEO Beppe Marotta, and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio today or on Wednesday to finalize the transfer strategy for this month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach and the directors will discuss potential attacking arrivals in particular.

A week remains in the January transfer window, and the Nerazzurri’s priorities look to be a striker to reinforce the attack with Joaquin Correa our injured for several key matches, and a left wing-back to back up Ivan Perisic.

The club are wasting little time in dealing with the outstanding issues in the market, and could meet as early as today to determine their priorities.

In attack, the return of Eddie Salcedo from loan from Spezia will be dealt with, and the 20-year-old could be sent to Genoa on loan for the rest of the season.

Should Salcedo join the Griffone on loan, it could pave the way for Felipe Caicedo to come the other way to bolster the Nerazzurri’s attack, though all of this would decide on Genoa’s decisions.

Meanwhile, the club will also focus on the situation of midfielder Stefano Sensi, who could still depart for Sampdoria on a dry loan for the rest of the season.
