Inter have completed the loan signing of former Ecuadorian international striker Felipe Caicedo from Serie A outfit Genoa

The Nerazzurri released a statement on their homepage confirming that the former Lazio player joins Inter on a six month dry loan.

The statement made no mention of the loan fee involved but it has been widely reported that Inter wont pay anything for the loan.

There was also no mention of Caicedo’s wages either, but it has been widely reported that he will earn €900.000 net during the six months loan.

Felipe Caicedo becomes the first player ever from Ecuador to sign for the Nerazzurri.

The former Manchester City striker will be reunited with Simone Inzaghi whom he worked under at four seasons at Lazio winning two Supercoppa Italiana and one Coppa Italia.

Caicedo joined Lazio in the summer of 2017 from Espanyol for a reported fee of €2.5 million and has since featured 139 times across all competitions scoring 33 goals in the process.
