Former Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko feels that for the moment, the Bianconeri cannot boast the same quality as Inter.
Speaking to Italian news outlet Bianconeranews.it, via FCInterNews, Sissoko gave his thoughts on the relative qualities of the two Italian giants at this moment in time.
The Nerazzurri have been in the shadow of Juventus for the better part of a decade, watching on as their rivals won nine consecutive Scudetti before toppling them last season.
This time around, Inter once again look to be in the driver’s seat in the Serie A title race, whilst the Bianconeri are currently outside the top four and have a fight for a Champions League place on their hands.
Former Bianconeri midfielder Sissoko feels that his old side can get back to their old level, but that right now it is the Nerazzurri who are the stronger side in Italian football.
On whether Juventus could win the Scudetto, he stated that “This year it would be very tough to see because right now Inter are on another level to them. Next season, who knows.”
