Aside from managing the squad for the present and the short-term future, Inter are also keeping a close eye on younger players who could be the foundation for the longer-term future of the squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who highlight Primavera midfielder Mattia Sangalli and loaned-out midfielder Lucien Agoume as two players with significant future potential.

Sangalli has been one of the bright spots for the Nerazzurri youth sector the past couple seasons, and he has really shone under Primavera coach Christian Chivu this time around.

The young midfielder could soon be introduced into senior football with the first team, and the club will be considering the best course of action for the 19-year-old’s development.

Meanwhile, Agoume has had more success on loan in Ligue 1 with Brest this campaign that he had last season at Spezia, cementing a regular place in the team and performing well, and he is another player who could be part of the team’s future.
