Former Lazio coach Delio Rossi expects that the next few matches will determine whether Inter are successful in their pursuit of a second consecutive Scudetto or not.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the former coach emphasized that the matches in February will be decisive for the Nerazzurri’s ambitions across not only Serie A but also the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.

Inter had a hectic January, but their February has always looked to be the most imposing set of fixtures which they face over the rest of the campaign on paper.

Serie A clashes with AC Milan Napoli, a Coppa Italia quarterfinal match against Roma, and the first leg of their Champions League round of sixteen tie against Liverpool should all reveal much about how their season will go.

Rossi feels that the next month will the most important for the team’s entire season, stating that “Leagues are often decided by March, Inter are in for everything within a month.”

He went on that “They will meet Milan and Napoli in the league, Roma in the Coppa Italia, and Liverpool in the Champions League.”
