Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca has made his current club aware that he wants to join Inter during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi are already preparing to move on from the striker at the end of the season with a view to a probable sale to Inter.

Scamacca has emerged as the Nerazzurri’s priority target in attack for June, with the 22-year-old’s profile seen as the best option to strengthen their forward line for seasons to come.

Inter have already started on trying to get the striker secured, and he is also keen on the move, having told the Neroverdi that his intention is to make the switch.

Sassuolo have signed the likes of Luca Moro and are targeting Pisa’s Lorenzo Lucca as a replacement for Scamacca in the expectation that he will move on in the summer.
