Both Inter and AC Milan have considerations and plans off of the pitch that are just as important as the result on it when the teams meet on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been highlighted by Corriere della Sera, the match at San Siro on Saturday represents a crossroads in the season in regard to AC Milan’s attempts to catch Inter at the top of the table and win the Scudetto.

The Rossoneri will fall seven points behind Inter if they fail to take all three points on Saturday. Both teams have their own issues and plans off of the pitch to continue thinking about though.

Inter has just recently issued a €415 million bond to refinance the old one and were able to take a plunge in the transfer market by signing Robin Gosens.

AC Milan meanwhile chose to just invest in Serbian youngster Lazetic but their accounts are gradually recovering.
