Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has chosen to stay at Inter rather than sign for Barcelona or Tottenham Hotspur who have both contacted him, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Croatian midfielder is still committed to signing a new deal with the Nerazzurri despite the delay in reaching an agreement.

It was reported yesterday that the delay was down to the bonuses involved in the contract and whether they are too hard for the player or the team to achieve.

Even without the bonuses the midfielder stands to earn €6 million per season should he sign the new contract that the club has proposed to him.

Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have tried to take advantage of the delay in negotiations but he has not shown interest in joining either team. He wishes to remain with Inter for another four years.
