Edin Dzeko, Ivan Perisic, and Nicolo Barella were the three best players on the pitch for Inter in yesterday evening’s Coppa Italia win over Roma according to Italian media.

The trio each received scores of 7/10 in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who highlighted them as the three most decisive performers in the win.

Dzeko’s opening goal, just a couple minutes in against his former club, wasn’t quite as spectacular as Alexis Sanchez’s second half strike, but it was extremely well-taken.

Apart from that volley, the Bosnian worked hard for the team and held the ball up well for the entire time he was on the pitch.

Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic provided the delivery for Dzeko’s goal, and the 33-year-old put in an accomplished display up and down the left flank all evening as fans have come to expect from him.

Lastly, Barella did not make any goal contributions despite hitting the woodwork with a long-range effort, but his energy and positional sense were key to the Nerazzurri imposing themselves on the match, according to Tuttosport.
