Inter duo Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez have been named as the Nerazzurri’s two best players in yesterday evening’s Coppa Italia win over Roma.

The pair of goalscorers each received grades of 7.5/10 in the player ratings for the match in this evening’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Dzeko and Sanchez were the two players who Simone Inzaghi went with in attack against the Giallorossi, and the two forwards each rewarded the coach’s faith with excellently-taken goals in a 2-0 win to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the likes of Nicolo Barella, Ivan Perisic, and Milan Skriniar all received just a grade lower, 7/10, from the Gazzetta for their displays.

Only one player for Inter was given a mediocre score in the Gazzetta’s ratings for the match, with Arturo Vidal singled out with a 5/10 grade for a sluggish display which the newspaper suggest could be a bad sign should he start in the Champions League against Liverpool.
