Treble-winner Wesley Sneijder has been selected by fans to be inducted into the Inter Hall of Fame.

This is announced by the club on their official site, where they outline some of his achievements in a Nerazzurri shirt in the three and a half seasons spent at the club between 2009 and 2012.

Sneijder joined the Nerazzurri from Real Madrid in the summer of 2009, and in his first season helped the club to an historic European treble under Jose Mourinho.

The 37-year-old made 116 appearances in an Inter shirt, 76 coming in Serie A, and scored 22 goals, including some very memorable ones such as a vital goal against Barcelona at the San Siro on the way to winning the Champions League.

In his second season with the club, Sneijder managed to win his second Coppa Italia title, while he left midway through the 2011-12 season to join Turkish giants Galatasary.

The Dutch national team legend enjoyed some of his best form and most memorable moments with the Nerazzurri, and he joins Gianluca Pagliuca and Marco Matterazzi in this year’s Hall of Fame class.
