Spezia’s Greek defender Dimitris Nikolaou believes that Inter will retain their Serie A title ahead of the clash against Napoli.
Speaking to The Italian Football Podcast, the former Empoli defender stated that the Nerazzurri will win the Serie A this season due to being the most complete team.
“I think Inter will win the Serie A title because they are the most complete team and have the deepest squad to make the most important changes.”
Inter travel to Naples to face Napoli on Saturday at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the Serie A with kick-off scheduled for 18.00 CET.
Nikolaou believes that clash will be a tight affair as both teams are two quality sides which makes the outcome difficult to predict beforehand.
“Yeah, Napoli’s clash with Inter will be a tough game for both teams as they are both good teams but you never know.”
The 23 year-old signed a four year deal with Empoli in the summer of 2019 for a reported fee of around €3.5 million leading them to promotion to the Serie A last season after winning the Serie B.
He left the Tuscan’s ahead of this season signing a five year deal with Spezia and scored his first goal against Pordenone in the Coppa Italia.
