Inter striker Edin Dzeko showed his quality and made a telling contribution in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Napoli in Serie A, according to Italian media.
The 35-year-old received solid grades across the board for his display and vital equalizing goal in the player ratings for the match in Italian media, as highlighted by L’Interista.
Dzeko was unable to really get a foothold in the match along with the rest of his teammates in a first half which was largely dominated by the Partenopei, but emerged as a much more incisive presence after the restart.
It didn’t take long for Dzeko to find the needed goal to cancel out Napoli’s advantage, seizing onto a loose ball in the penalty area with a well-taken finish.
The Bosnian had a few loose touches and passes but largely did his job and was vital to the point, and he got 6.5/10 scores for his performance from the Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport, TuttoMercatoWeb, and L’Interista, as well as a 7/10 grade from the Corriere dello Sport.
