Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has said that Inter and AC Milan seem to be superior to Juventus at the moment despite the recent improvement of the Bianconeri, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday, the former Italian national team midfielder explained that the atmosphere at Juventus has improved now but the two Milan sides still appear to be superior to them.
“The mood in the locker room has changed, now there is enthusiasm and this counts, but Inter for the squad and Milan for the game seem even superior to me.”
Juventus had a very tough start to the season but have found a good run of form in 2022. The January signings of Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria has lifted them further in recent weeks.
Paulo Dybala has produced some good form despite being embroiled in rumours that he will leave the club at the end of the season and possibly join Inter on a free transfer.
Claudio Marchisio had his say on the matter.
“I think, if Juve wants to have a real challenge, they’re forced to build it right away. Dybala and De Ligt cannot be lost, for talent and identity you have to keep them. With Chiesa, Vlahovic and others, they are the future.”
