Inter forward Joaquin Correa is targeting next week’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg clash with AC Milan to make his return from injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Argentine is getting close to making a recovery from his thigh problem and could be back in time for the match against the Rossoneri.

Correa has been out since the Nerazzurri’s Copa Italia round of sixteen match against Empoli in January, where he picked up his injury in the early minutes of the match.

The Argentine has missed all of Inter’s gruelling February, but with the end in sight for his recovery he could give a boost to the team as they look to get out of their moment of bad form.

Correa will not be back in time for Friday’s Serie A clash with Genoa, but could already be available for selection against the Rossoneri, and this is the match he’s aiming for.
