Inter new boy Robin Gosens is ready to make a return from injury, but the Nerazzurri will not be taking any risks with his fitness.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 27-year-old is ready to make his return to the squad for Friday’s Serie A clash with Genoa but that the club are not rushing him back.

Gosens arrived at Inter towards the end of the January transfer window carrying a hamstring problem which had also caused him to miss significant portions of the first part of the season with Atalanta.

The German is now recovered, but the club have no intention of risking a reinjury, so it’s unlikely that he will be seen against Genoa, while it remains to be seen whether he will take the pitch against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia next week.

Especially given the continued form of the reliable Ivan Perisic on the left, the club feel that they can be patient with Gosens rather than taking any risks regarding his return.
