Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to welcome back Alessandro Bastoni to his defence for this evening’s Serie A trip to Genoa.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi has almost settled on his preferred starting line-up and is ready to recall centre-back Alessandro Bastoni after he sat out last weekend’s defeat to Sassuolo through suspension.

The Italian international will replace Federico Dimarco at the back and will join Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij, whilst Denzel Dumfries and Ivan Perisic are certain to keep their places at wing-back.

Elsewhere, Marcelo Brozovic is also expected to return following his own suspension, taking the place of Roberto Gagliardini to feature in central midfield with Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu.

In attack, Inzaghi has settled on Edin Dzeko and is likely to turn to Lautaro Martinez despite his goal drought, with the Argentine impressing over Alexis Sanchez in training this week.
