Ex-Lazio Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson: “Inter’s Simone Inzaghi My Favourite Of The Three Coaches At The Top Of Serie A”

Former Lazio and England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson feels most partial to Inter’s Simone Inzaghi out of the coaches of the current top three teams in Serie A.

Speaking to Naples-based newspaper Il Mattino in an interview published in yesterday’s print edition, the Swede named the current Nerazzurri boss as his favourite of the coaches at the main Scudetto rivals.

Eriksson enjoyed one of the most successful spells in Lazio’s history, guiding the capital club to the Scudetto around the turn of the century.

Inzaghi was not quite that successful during his time in charge of the Biancocelesti, though he did enjoy a high level of success especially considering the resources at his disposal.

Now, Inzaghi is at Inter where he is hoping to get his hands on the Scudetto for the first time, and Eriksson is an admirer of his.

“My favourite of the three coaches fighting for the title,” Eriksson said.
