One of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah could be left out in attack in Liverpool’s starting eleven to face Inter tomorrow evening in the Champions League.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that Reds coach Jurgen Klopp could decide on a surprise in attack for the round of sixteen second leg at Anfield.

The trio of Mane, Salah, and Diogo Jota started for the Reds in the first leg of the knockout tie at the San Siro, while January signing Luiz Diaz appeared from the bench in the second half.

According to Sky, however, Klopp is thinking about benching one of Salah or Mane, starting both Jota and Diaz alongside whichever of the usual duo remains.

The German coach has been using all of his attacking options regularly in recent matches, and could decide that starting both Jota and Diaz is his best attack against the Nerazzurri, or be rotating with the Premier League title race in mind.
