Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will be aiming to find his best form on a consistent basis now that he’s gotten back to scoring in recent matches against Salernitana and Liverpool.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Argentine has found his finishing boots and his confidence, but that getting back to this level week-to-week is just as important.

Martinez had been in one of his worst scoring slumps since joining the Nerazzurri, going more than two months without finding the back of the net from open play, but he has announced his return to scoring in emphatic fashion.

The 24-year-old bagged a well-taken hat-trick to help his team cruise past Salernitana in the league last week, which he followed up with an excellent long-range strike to give the Nerazzurri victory on the night away to Liverpool.

These were important goals to show that the striker has put his down spell behind him, but they are still only isolated moments, and now, with key matches in the Serie A run-in on the way, it is more important than ever for him to show consistency.
