Inter Have No More Margin For Error In Serie A Title Race, Italian Broadcaster Argues

Inter have lost any margin for error that they once had in the Serie A title race following yesterday evening’s Serie A draw with Torino.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who argue that the Nerazzurri now find themselves in a highly delicate moment in which any small problems could mean failure in their Scudetto defense.
Inter had at one point found themselves in a comfortable position in the Serie A title race, with a margin of several points at the top of the table over all of their major rivals.
However, their form has deteriorated over the last month and a half, leaving them trailing city rivals AC Milan by five points and Napoli by three points.
Even with their game in hand on these two, the Nerazzurri’s fate is no longer in their own hands, and they are looking ahead to next weekend’s match against Fiorentina as a genuinely must-win encounter.
Inter will rest today and then get back to training tomorrow, and they will know that over the next few days they have no option but to find the strongest version of themselves to get back into consistent form during the run-in and hope to capitalize on any slip-ups by their rivals.
