Inter could be open to selling Lautaro Martinez for the right price should they not win the Serie A title this season.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who claim that the striker’s future could be up in the air especially in the event that he does not fire the team to the Scudetto over the rest of the campaign.

Martinez has been the subject of interest from a number of top European clubs over his time at Inter, with the Nerazzurri having turned down offers from major Spanish and English sides during last summer’s transfer window.

The interest in the 24-year-old hasn’t gone away, even in spite of the fact that he signed a contract extension with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2026 in the fall.

If the Argentine is to prove his worth by leading Inter to a second straight Scudetto, then the Gazzetta suggests that the club would be ready to turn down any offers for his signature.

In the event that the team fail to win the title race, however, their attitude could be different and they could listen to offers for him.
