Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s partner and daughter have tested negative for COVID-19 after the 24-year-old’s recent positive test for the virus.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Argentine’s partner Agustina Gandolfo confirmed on her Instagram story that both she and the couple’s daughter Nina are negative for the virus.

Martinez’s positive test for COVID was confirmed yesterday by the Argentine national team, who announced that the 24-year-old had withdrawn from the national team squad for fixtures over the international break due to the positive test.

The striker is now undergoing the mandatory period of self-isolation at his home, and will hope to be back in training within the next week or so.

Martinez has not shown any symptoms since testing positive for the virus, and according to his partner, both she and his daughter have already contracted the virus and so they are negative for it now.
