Inter and AC Milan look to have faced another setback in the process of trying to begin construction of a new stadium to replace the San Siro in the form of a new feasibility study.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the public debate that will take place before construction begins will mandate the study, which in addition to being a further delay could cost around €15 million.

The public debate around the construction of a new stadium in Milan now looks to be inevitable, and while the clubs are cooperating their are growing impatient.

The new feasibility study looks to be an obligatory part of the process, and the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri will have to foot the bill for it.

With the mounting delays and setbacks of this nature, it remains to be seen whether the clubs will edge closer towards seeking an alternative location for the stadium.
