Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi emphasized the possibility that they’ve reached a decisive turning point in their season in his team talk after their win over Juventus on Sunday.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the coach told the players to treat the match as a landmark moment in the context of their season.
Inter got a major boost from the three points they took away from Turin, and in the immediate aftermath the coach made a point to emphasize the significance of the moment for the rest of the campaign.
With President Steven Zhang and the club directors also in the locker room at the Allianz Stadium, the coach gave a speech on the importance of the win.
For Inzaghi, the most important thing is that the players fully understand the moment not just in isolation but for the rest of the season which came before it and that still to come.
