The agent of Benfica forward Darwin Nunez has named Inter as one of the many teams interested in signing the Uruguayan, according to a report in the Portuguese print media today.

As has been reported by Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Benfica did not publicly release the names of the clubs that sent a scout to see Benfica’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Despite this, the journalists in Portugal did manage to acquire a list of interested teams from the Uruguayan forward’s agent.

Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter, AC Milan, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal are the biggest clubs that are keeping a close eye on the striker.

He scored Benfica’s only goal in the 3-1 defeat which means it is unlikely that he will be playing in the semi-finals this season.

He is under contract until 2025 but it is expected he will leave Portugal in the summer.
