Former Udinese and Parma coach Pasquale Marino feels that Inter look like the strongest team in the Serie A title race but that AC Milan could run them close.
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Marino gave the view that the Nerazzurri could find themselves pushed all the way by the Rossoneri but are the favourites, while Napoli are out of the race in all likelihood.
Inter have taken back control of their own destiny in the Scudetto pursuit by winning against Hellas Verona in the same weekend that both of their main rivals dropped points in the title race.
However, the Nerazzurri will still feel that taking maximum points from their remaining matches could be a tough ask, and will know that even with recent bumps in the road Milan are a very formidable opponent.
Pasquale feels that this will be the dynamic of the Scudetto race over the matches to come, stating that “There’s a lot of balance, all the teams have the same chance.”
“Maybe Inter have something more, but Milan are in full swing despite yesterday’s misstep,” he added. “With their defeat, however, Napoli slowed down the race a bit.”
