Inter are targeting Real Madrid duo Dani Ceballos and Luka Jovic as potential low-cost alternatives to Sassuolo pair Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri could bring in Ceballos or Jovic in on loan should they miss out on either Frattesi or Scamacca.
Midfield and attack are two areas where Inter are definitely aiming to reinforce during the summer transfer window, and Frattesi and Scamacca are priority options to add quality in the form of young, high-potential Italian players.
However, neither would come cheap, and so the club are ready to pursue backup targets should they fail in their pursuit.
In midfield, Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino are headed for the exit door, and so it is inevitable that the club will bring in reinforcements, and they could target the out-of-favour Ceballos on loan.
Also out of favour in the Spanish capital is Jovic, a player who the Nerazzurri have long been admirers of, and should they miss out on their first-choice target Scamaccca they would be ready to reignite their pursuit of the Serb.
