Inter striker Lautaro Martinez appears to have put his goal drought behind him decisively and is once again showing off the “real Lautaro Martinez.”

The Argentine received very positive scores in the player ratings for yesterday evening’s 3-1 Serie A win over Roma after another goal and good performance, as highlighted by L’Interista.

Martinez had been the subject of criticism for his lack of goals during Inter’s bad run of form in February and March, and even his place in the starting eleven had been put in some question.

However, four goals in his last three matches across all competitions, including a brace against AC Milan and then yesterday evening’s header against Roma, have seen the 24-year-old back to being a deciding influence in important victories.

The Gazzetta dello Sport awarded Martinez a score of 7/10, whilst all of the Corriere dello Sport, TuttoMercatoWeb, and L’Interista went one grade higher to 7.5/10 for his performance against the Giallorossi.
