This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the coach and the club directors are ready to agree on a new contract that will see him earn as much as €6 million net per season.

Whether or not Inter win the Scudetto, the club will extend Inzaghi’s deal, as they are completely satisfied with the impact he has had since arriving last summer from Lazio.

The 46-year-old has already guided to the Supercoppa Italiana trophy and the round of sixteen in the Champions League, and they are still fighting for the Serie A title and in the final of the Coppa Italia.

The coach’s contract will be extended from the end of June 2023 until the end of June 2025, and his wages will be increased from €4 million net per season to at least €5.5 million net, but could go as high as €6 million net per season if he guides the team to the Scudetto in his first campaign in charge.
