Stadiums in Italy are set to start allowing fans into stadiums without face masks or Green Passes starting on the first of next month.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the regulations are set to change to allow fans in without these protocols beginning May 1.

Capacity restrictions for stadiums in Italy were completely lifted at the start of April, with more and more fans having been allowed in over the course of the season as restrictions on capacity were relaxed.

However, for the time being face masks have still been required as a COVID precaution, while the Green Pass system has also required fans to show the passes to validate that they are negative for COVID.

This is set to change at the start of next month, coinciding with the decisive final matches of the Serie A season as well as the Coppa Italia final between Inter and Juventus.
