Over three hundred Inter employees have travelled to Rome for the Coppa Italia final against Juventus at the invitation of Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the President wants to emphasize the unity in the team including all of the employees behind the scenes for the match.

Zhang feels that Inter must operate almost like a family, and experience both the difficult and triumphant moments together, and he has urged members of the staff to travel with the team.

The Nerazzurri are playing for their first Coppa Italia in eleven years, and the President feels that the team must have the support of not just the fans and the coaching staff, but the entire club staff behind it.

Zhang’s focus in this respect is unusual among Presidents of Italian clubs, and furthermore looks to be a signal of his continued commitment to the Nerazzurri despite persistent rumours of a sale by Suning.
