Inter president Steven Zhang has said that Wednesday’s Coppa Italia win was the result of years of hard work behind the scenes, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media last night.

Speaking after the Coppa Italia final to Inter TV, via FCInternews, the Chinese businessman explained that he must give thanks to everyone who put in hard work for years so that Inter could get to a position where they win the Coppa Italia.

“I thank all those who collaborated in this victory, this trophy comes from many years of work. I dedicate this trophy to all the Inter fans of the world and to the team that has worked for this goal.”

Steven Zhang also stressed that he wants the club to be competitive again and to do that they will continue on the current path that they are on.

“We want to be competitive again in the coming years and continue on this path.”

If Simone Inzaghi can deliver the Scudetto for Inter it will mean he has won all three domestic trophies in his first season at the club.
