Inter Returned To Pinetina At 4am & Attention Immediately Turned To The Cagliari Match, Italian Media Report

Inter returned to the training ground at 4 am on Thursday morning but attention immediately turned to Sunday’s match against Cagliari, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Inter squad partied all the way back to Milan after winning the Coppa Italia in Rome on Wednesday night against Juventus.

The match was won 4-2 in extra time when Ivan Perisic scored a penalty and a long-range strike to put Inter two goals ahead of the Bianconeri.

Despite returning to the training ground at Pinetina in the early hours of the morning, many players remained for massages and treatments in order to relieve their fatigue ahead of the the big match in Sardinia against Cagliari on Sunday evening.

Inter know that they must win their final two games and hope that AC Milan drop three points somewhere to clinch the title.
