Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has stressed to his players that he still believes that the Scudetto is fully in play and that they can overtake AC Milan at the top of the Serie A table over the last two matches.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the coach made the hope and possibility of the title the theme of his team talks yesterday and today.

The Nerazzurri cannot deny that their city rivals AC Milan have a potentially decisive advantage in the form of a two-point lead in the table and the head-to-head over them, but they also know that this season has already been full of twists and turns.

The coach has tried to get his players into the mental space that things will be open and there for the taking until the end in order to make sure that they are motivated going into their matches against Cagliari and Sampdoria.

Inzaghi believes that in this way, the team can approach these last two matches as title-deciders, and play with the greatest possible motivation.
