Inter wingback Ivan Perisic is close to agreeing a summer move to Juventus on a free transfer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are all but resigned to the departure of the 33-year-old who looks to be bound for the Bianconeri.

Inter will hold one more meeting with Perisic at the end of the current season where they will attempt to convince him to sign a contract extension beyond the end of his current deal which expires at the end of next month.

However, the likelihood of the talks ending in an agreement appears to be diminishing greatly, with the Nerazzurri not likely to make an offer that the Croat and his representatives are happy with.

The Bianconeri now look to be the team in pole position to sign Perisic, as they are ready to make an offer that he would be happy with, and they are aiming to get a deal with him wrapped up along with the free transfers of PSG’s Angel Di Maria and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
