Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal has confirmed that he will be on his way out from the club during the summer transfer window.

Speaking to to Chilean tabloid Las Ultimas Noticias, as reported by FCInterNews, the 34-year-old acknowledged that a summer departure is on the horizon.

Vidal has been strongly linked with a move to Brazilian giants Flamengo for next season, and he recently gave fans a poll on his Instagram account where he asked whether he should join the Brazilians or former club Colo-Colo as his next destination.

The poll narrowly favoured the Brazilians, a club who he has made no secret of his ambition to play for.

It still remains to be seen whether the Chilean decides upon Flamengo although he would welcome making the switch if his statements and social media can be taken as an indication.

However, when the results of the poll were revealed, the midfielder was coy about his future, stating that “All I can say for sure is that I’m leaving in the summer.”
