Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati has said that there has been a lot of phone calls for Gleison Bremer who Inter are heavily linked with, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking ahead of the match against AS Roma on Friday evening to DAZN, via FCInter1908, Davide Vagnati was asked about the transfer dealings of the Granata and he spoke about Gleison Bremer.

The Brazilian defender is the centre back that Inter are most serious about signing in the summer and they supposedly have an agreement in place with the player already.

Davide Vagnati says that there has been plenty of phone calls for Gleison Bremer and he gave an insight into how highly he rates him.

“There have been many phone calls, today he will be awarded as the best defender in Serie A. A great recognition for a great man and a great player.”

The other main transfer story surrounding Torino is the future of Andrea Belotti who is out of contract at the end of the season. Many teams are linked with the Italian forward.

“Will Belotti stay? I don’t know, we’ll talk about it next week. We are optimistic in the sense that there hasn’t been a definitive decision yet.

“I’m an optimist by nature. I don’t want to expose myself, but objectively, having not done anything definitive, I think he has the Granata at heart, so the feelings are positive.”
